This stunning installation, designed by architects Studio Joseph, became the centerpiece of the most frequented floor of the award-winning Bloomberg European Headquarters.

My challenge was to engineer the three 14 x 8-foot tables to cantilever out from a single center point. I designed an aluminum lattice structure that would thread through a 5-axis milled foam substrate. The structure allows data and electrical power to feed the Bloomberg terminals out on the main work surface. I relied on a composite layup of fiberglass and carbon fiber to give strength to the complicated surface.
